Chef's Recommendation:
Begin by gently brushing the mushrooms with a soft-bristled brush or a clean, damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris that may be clinging to them.
Since Superlicious Mushrooms are cultivated in a very clean environment washing is not required.
Pat the mushrooms dry with a clean towel or paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
Remove the stem by cutting it with a knife, place the top half of the mushroom on a cutting board, and cut into ½ inch thick pieces.
Other than black pearl & king oyster, most of the oyster mushroom stems are hard to cook & they are recommended to be discarded.
In a bowl mix all ingredients together for burger sauce & set aside.
To Prepare Patty, Add beef mince in a bowl, add mushrooms, half egg, all spices, bread crumbs and mix it well and shape it in to a patty. Dip the patty in a flour then dip in a egg then in the crumb.
Coat the beef patty in flour first then dip it in beaten egg & then coat with bread crumbs.
Add oil in a Pan & Deep Fry patty from both sides for 5-6 minutes until cooked… Set aside.
Add 1 tbs Butter, 1/4 tsp chopped garlic in a pan & sauté. Add in 30 g of Black Pearl Mushroom & cook for 4-5 Minutes.
Toast the buns and put already prepared burger sauce on both sides.
Layer the burger according to your liking with cheese, ice berg & tomatoes.
Serve with French fries or Potato veggies.
