Preparation

  1. For cleaning, if your king oyster mushrooms are of good quality, only wash the ends
  2. if you do notice any dirt, gently brush it off instead of washing them
  3. Remove the super hard part of the end with a knife which connects to the root system, about 1 inch
  4. Your king oyster mushroom will then be left with a firm stem and cap that is meant for cooking and eating
